New Lesson: Resource Model in Magento 2

In this lesson, we are going to learn about a Resource Model class that is used in conjunction with a Model. I will answer questions on how to create a Resource Model, what are the capabilities and show a usage example. After this lesson, you will know what a Resource Model is and how to use it in your custom Magento 2 extension.

We are pleased to announce the public availability of the two new online courses. The courses cover the basics of PHP language on real-life examples.

The Build User Login with PHP and MySQL course shows how to build User login and logout functionality with PHP and MySQL. In the course, we are going to learn all the required basics on how to work with PHP sessions in order to preserve user authentication. After the course, you will be familiar with PDO MySQL driver and PDO classes that can be used for working with the MySQL database.

User Registration with PHP and MySQL

This course is for developers willing to learn and practice creating user registration functionality with PHP and MySQL.

The User Registration with PHP and MySQL course shows how to build registration functionality with PHP and MySQL. In the course, we are going to learn and practice building this functionality and how to send confirmation emails to successfully register a user in a PHP application.

After the course, you will be familiar with PDO MySQL driver and PDO classes that can be used for working with the MySQL database. Also, you will get skills sending and processing emails in a PHP application.
