Meet Magento 2024 New York

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at Meet Magento New York 2024, an internationally renowned event right in the heart of New York City! This iconic conference is back this October, stronger than ever, offering a platform to connect with retailers, brands, service providers, developers, and other eCommerce influencers. It’s the perfect place to share knowledge, best practices, and insights around the Magento platform.

Test-Driven Development (TDD) is crucial for Magento teams because it fosters higher code quality, minimizes bugs, and ensures scalable, maintainable solutions. By writing tests before coding, developers can catch issues early, reducing technical debt and improving the overall development process. In my session, I’ll highlight how applying TDD can transform Magento projects and help teams work more efficiently.

TDD in a nutshell is simple. You write a test before any line of a source code, execute it, and check that it fails. Then you add a minimum amount of source code to make a test pass. Once the test is passed, you refactor any unnecessary hard-coded values, and missing constants, to make it comply with the architectural design.
